Purchase’s annual two-day event, Afrodisiac, which celebrates Black and people of color, held its second night on Saturday, April 11. The night brought a larger crowd, more performers and featured a lineup with a range of styles.

Night two was hosted by Afrodisiac Co-Chair, Misa-Love Smith, who kept up the energy from her fathers hosting from the previous night and brought her energetic personality to the stage.
Disc Jockey (DJ) Soso opened the night with a party set. Student performers included Camp3, Jess, Shad Deso, Uzoma, Tionne, Fusion X, Dejart and Memlordanny. Each act brought a different sound and kept the crowd active throughout the event.
Headliners, Jenn Carter and Kyle Richh closed the night. Their performance brought the largest crowd of the evening. Students gathered near the stage, sang along, and responded to each track.
Afrodisiac night two continued the momentum from the first night and brought together students, music, and live performance in one space.
