Students packed in to room 0081 of the Music Building last night to watch Bonk! Atomic Punch, Grace Eskin, and Alexander Hippert perform.

Alexander Hippert opened the show with a solo acoustic set in which he played songs off his recent album Surrealista. His set was full of lively guitar playing, catchy rhythms, and a myriad of soulful songs all sung in Spanish.

Grace Eskin and their band played next. Their set consisted of a number of covers, including one of "Ripped Pants" from the SpongeBob SquarePants episode of the same name. There was also a good amount of crowd banter between songs, which made for a fun atmosphere.

Bonk! Atomic Punch, who were also playing live for the first time, performed last. Their set was nothing short of madness. People went hard during their set, especially during their covers of "Immigrant Song" by Led Zepplin and "Fell in Love With a Girl" by The White Stripes. People danced, moshed, and sang along to the band as the band returned the energy, playing just as hard. Without a doubt, their debut show was a massive success.
