An apartment in the Neu was broken into and burglarized last night, according to police.

Police responded to a report of missing property at an apartment in the P block of the Neu at approximately 2 a.m. The students reported clothing, cash and electronic devices as missing.

The perpetrator, or perpetrators could face charges of felony burglary if caught.

Burglaries are not uncommon in Purchase's apartments, and often happen when the weather warms up and students in older apartments without air conditioning leave their windows open.

Five burglaries were reported on campus in 2017, per the most recent Clery report.
