Announcement: The President’s Award for Student Public Art on Campus


This is an annual competition created by President Schwarz to encourage the display of student-made public art on campus. The president’s committee for the Public art on campus reviews the submitted proposals, and a stipend covers the cost of materials, fabrication, installation, and maintenance.


Applications Proposals are due Sunday, March 5th by midnight The committee responds to proposals by Friday, March 31st, notifying finalists. Selection of the Finalist and notification of the winning proposal will be announced by Friday, April 21, 2023. The recipient of the 2023 President’s Award for Student Public Art on Campus will be announced online and at the Annual Student Awards Ceremony at the end of the spring 2023 semester.

Purchase Symphony Orchestra

Where: PAC Recital Hall

What: The event features a symphony orchestra of purchase students. The programs of the event will include Wagner- Siegfried-Idyll, WWV 103, Marianna Martines-Piano Concerto in G Major, with Idith Korman, Piano, Beethoven- Symphony No.4 in B-flat Major, Op.60

Cost: Tickets are $25 for General Admission & $15 for students and seniors



Conservatory of Dance Senior Project #5
