Broadview residents and students gathered together to celebrate Thanksgiving, embracing community and connection over a shared meal. The feast occurred on Nov. 26 at 6 p.m. in the Broadview Dining Room.

“Found Family Feast” was a collaborative effort by Broadview residents and Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Queer/Questioning Union (LGBTQU) to host a “Queer-Friendly Thanksgiving Dinner.”

The feast aimed to create a space “specifically for students who weren’t going home,” offering them a warm and inclusive environment to share the holiday. Guests enjoyed a meal while engaging in conversations that bridged generations and experiences.

This gathering brought together 26 Broadview residents and eight LGBTQU members in a shared effort to create a welcoming environment for students spending the holiday on campus.
